Young people especially welcome!
For several years a Church Plant congregation worshipped in the Styan Community Centre on the Jennyfield estate. Due to changed circumstances and needs the congregation decided after much heart aching and thinking to move the Saturday evening Mass up to St Wilfrid's church and to engage in mission on the Jennyfield estate in other particular ways. The services on Saturday at 6.00 pm continues in the informal catholic style the Plant had developed over the years, thus offering an alternative service particularly for families and younger people and for those who due to occasional commitments on a Sunday morning cannot make it to the Parish Mass at 10.00 am.
